| Gel with very small pores which will only allow water and salt inside the gel particles and will exclude the protein. The Proteo-DESALT™ columns are pre dispensed with a desalting gel, which has been, optimized specifically for desalting and buffer exchange. Its high gel strength, Fast flow rates, low non-specific adsorption and economical swelling ratio make it ideal for routine desalting of macromolecules in laboratory and industrial applications. The gel has a molecular weight exclusion limit of approximately 6000 and a hydrated particle size range of 90-180 um. It is most stable between pH 5.5 and 6.5. |
