| Each Evaporator includes a base stand, needle valve, 6 or 12 threaded male needle luer locks, 6 or 12 lure hub stainless steel needles with blunt points, and 6 or 12 plastic end caps. The needle valve allows a fine control of the air stream or gas flow. |
| |
- Gas flow should be fast enough to evaporate, but not so fast as to splatter the liquid being evaporated
- For fewer vials, remove the needles from the needle locks that are not being used and plug with the plastic stoppers provided. To insure against contamination, plug up the male luer locks farthest from the needle valve first
- If a vial is too tall, some bending of the needle can be done to fit the container. Take care not to crimp the needles.
- To adjust the horizontal position, rotate the needles in the luer hubs by twisting them to the desired position
